Will digital versions of the books be made available?
We currently do not have approval from the licensor to publish digital versions of the books.

Can I buy individual books?
Unfortunately, no. Since there are so many books, logistically we had to sell them as groups/bundles to make it work.

Will there be new DC Heroes content now or in the future?
This campaign is the first step to get DC Heroes back in the world. If there’s enough interest, we would love to do new content!

Does DC Heroes RPG have a solo play mode?
Yes! There are short solo adventures in both the first and second edition boxed sets, and there are a number of full length solo adventures featured in the various bundles, including: Wheel of Destruction (you play Batman), Escort to Hell (you play Jonah Hex), and the Otherwhere Quest (you play your favorite Green Lantern). DC Heroes also supported a related innovative concept called “Match Play.” Match Play adventures are designed for just two players; each player GMs for the other player, then both players come together at the end to finish the story without a GM (“choose your own adventure” style). Match Play adventures include: Lines of Death (Green Arrow and Black Canary), War of the Gods (Superman and Wonder Woman), and Deadly Fusion (Superman and Batman).

Does the game support one-shot adventures?
Absolutely. Almost all the adventure booklets in the various bundles are standalone stories that are perfectly-suited to one-shot adventures. Most of the adventures were designed for a particular group of heroes (like the Justice League, the New Teen Titans, or the Legion of Super-Heroes)—most often because they feature villains associated with those heroes—but you can easily run any of them using heroes of your own creation. The typical DC Heroes adventure book can be completed in a single evening’s play.

How do I find out how much shipping will be?
The shipping chart on the Campaign page breaks down approximately how much each tier will cost to ship. These rates are best estimates. Final shipping rates could very well be slightly higher or lower depending on factors out of our control. Shortly after the campaign, you will be invited to complete a BackerKit survey, which involves filling out your shipping information and paying for shipping.
Last updated: November 13, 2024 14:21
How is shipping calculated, and why is it so expensive?
It is based on both the weight and dimensions of the items and the boxes used to ship the items. Some of the items are heavy (there are a lot of books!). We are doing our best to charge you only what it costs to ship you your items.
Last updated: November 13, 2024 14:21
When do I pay shipping?
It will be charged in the pledge manager powered by BackerKit after the campaign.
Last updated: November 13, 2024 14:21
Do I have to pay VAT?
If we import your rewards into the UK and EU, we will have to pay a VAT (value-added tax) based on the value of the product (i.e., the sales price). The percentage is based on the specific country we are importing to and is already included in the shipping rates.

Will there be a pledge manager/survey? Do I need to complete it?
Yes, if you pledge, a short time after the campaign you will be invited to a survey powered by Backerkit that will allow you to provide your shipping information, complete your options for tiers, upgrade your tier, choose additional add-ons, and pay for shipping. You NEED to complete your survey; otherwise, we won’t even have an address to ship your rewards.
Last updated: November 13, 2024 14:21
Can I get multiple copies of the different rewards?
Yes, you can choose most items and tiers as add-ons if you would like more than one. You can do this on Kickstarter or after the campaign in the pledge manager powered by BackerKit. If you do it during the campaign, you can help unlock stretch goals!
Last updated: November 13, 2024 14:21
How do I order the add-ons shown on the Kickstarter page?
After you pledge to a tier, you will have the option of choosing add-ons on Kickstarter. You can get any of the items listed as add-ons AND additional quantities of any of the tiers. If you want to add an add-on to your existing pledge, this is how you do it:
1) Click “Manage your pledge” on the Kickstarter page 2) Click “Change your pledge” 3) Select your Reward Tier again (or change it) 4) Select your preferred add-ons
Also, after the campaign, there will be a pledge manager that will allow you to choose more add-ons or adjust the quantity on the ones you ordered.

Can I get ONLY add-ons?
You can pledge without a reward, add funds to cover the add-ons you want, and then choose the specific add-ons in the pledge manager.
Last updated: November 13, 2024 14:21
If I pledge a $1, will I gain access to the pledge manager?

I’m a retailer. Will I get all the stretch goals if I pledge for the Retailer Tier?
Yes!
Last updated: November 13, 2024 14:21
Can non-retailers pledge for the Retailer Tier?
No, the Retailer Tier is strictly for retailers with brick-and-mortar locations. We want to support the local hobby stores that are the backbone of our industry. Game groups and online-only retailers do not qualify for this tier. We will verify retailers after the campaign and will cancel Retailer Tier pledges that are made by non-retailers.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
